About Us

A HISTORY OF WHO WE ARE AND HOW WE CAN HELP NOT JUST YOU BUT THE COMMUNITY.

Our History

Good Deeds House Clean Outs is a subsidiary of Clean Out Your House, Inc. in Waltham, Massachusetts. The company was founded in 2002. The two (2) companies have a total of 8 trucks on the road, and employ over 25 individuals.

Pay It Forward.

Although making a profit is our goal, we help the environment and families in need at the same time. Last year the two (2) companies donated, recycled or sold over 1 million pounds of household items, keeping them out of landfills! This includes donating over 600 dressers, 1,200 kitchen chairs, 850 end tables, 450 bookcases/cabinets, and 175 bed frames to those who have fallen on hard times, and need a little help.

Additionally, we donated over 20,000 books to More Than Words (a not for profit organization helping at risk and homeless kids from the community), and recycled over 300,000 pounds of metal, paper, cardboard, televisions, and electronics.

We work to not “junk out” unwanted items, unlike the competition.

WHAT WE DO

WE STAND BY THESE FOUR PRINCIPALS

At Good Deeds Clean Outs, our values are deeply rooted in our commitment to remove clutter responsibly, recycling materials whenever possible to minimize environmental impact. We believe in the power of reuse, finding new purposes for salvaged items, and prioritize donation to give back to our community while reducing waste.

REMOVE

At Good Deeds Clean Outs, we approach clutter removal responsibly by carefully assessing items for potential reuse or donation before disposal.

RECYCLE

Good Deeds Clean Outs takes recycling clutter responsibly by sorting materials and diverting recyclables from landfills whenever possible.

REUSE

At Good Deeds Clean Outs, we embrace responsible reuse by finding new purposes for salvaged items, reducing the need for new resources.

COMMUNITY

Good Deeds Clean Outs prioritizes our community by donating a portion of store’s proceeds to a local organization each quarter.

Good Deeds Thrift Store provides an avenue to sell not only large items, but also many items that charities can not take or handle. In addition to helping out families in need, Good Deeds Thrift Store donates a portion of the proceeds to local charities each quarter. In the past two (2) years over $20,000 has been given to charitable organizations who are helping local families providing much needed services.
